Take Your Medicine and Smile presents the first public screening in Los Angeles of underground filmmaker Zach Lorkiewicz's surreal feature film debut with a special live musical performance by Count the Clock with special guests.
Synopsis:
This film is psychosis incarnate, turning Los Angeles into a demented circus where a recovering drug addict and a wannabe actress both hear a magical voice talking from inside the computer, leading them down a path to who-knows-where.
"This is one of the best debuts in alternative cinema." - Take Your Medicine and Smile founder James Tyler Shaw
This is Mulholland Drive for Gen. Z. Also great for fans of I Saw The TV Glow, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
This showing will open with a performance of music from the film in the very space where the scene was filmed and will end with a Q and A with the filmmaker.
