Internationally renowned historian, filmmaker, playwright, and activist Dr. Marcus Rediker and award-winning artist David Lester will launch the publication of their new graphic novel.Offering a powerful visual experience, the graphic novel carries readers from the rebellion by 53 people from Sierra Leone on the Amistad in 1839, to the resulting trials that achieved an unexpected international victory for the abolitionist movement.
