For him, improvising means «composing in real time»!
As titular organist at Notre-Dame de Paris since 2024, Thierry Escaich is both the custodian of a centuries-old tradition and a bold innovator. This November, he returns to the Philharmonie with a blend of striking improvisations and classics from the repertoire, ranging from the exuberant Romanticism of Charles-Marie Widor to the subtle minimalism of Philip Glass. You will be on the edge of your seat!
