Award-winning pianist Sarah Hagen presents her program "Wonder Women", bringing to light the beautiful music written by forgotten female composers during the 18th and 19th centuries. Often overshadowed by famous male composers of their day, these talented women were incredible musicians and composers in their own right. Don't miss this concert of extraordinary music performed with virtuosity, heartfelt passion and a delightful touch of mischief that will keep you entranced the whole performance.
Sarah Hagen has toured extensively as a solo pianist across North America and Europe, including two appearances at Carnegie Hall, New York City. She has performed as a soloist with several symphony orchestras and collaborated with a wide variety of well-known musicians in chamber ensembles. Known for her acclaimed, award-winning recordings and dynamic performances, Sarah blends classical mastery with curiosity, storytelling, and a great sense of humour.
Concert starts at 5:00pm and runs for approximately 75 minutes with no intermission.
