MCE presents works exploring monsters, fairy tales, ghosts and goblins, oh my! Beginning with a Piano Quartet by the movie composer Danny Elfman (of the iconic Batman theme!), the program also features pianist Ali Mammadoff on Joseph Kern’s arrangement of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, concluding with a witch-filled Ghost Trio by Beethoven.
