Thrive Community Church Shoe box packing party

It's coming to that time of year again and our Church is having a Christmas shoe box packing party!!!

The party will be held after our church service on Sunday October 18th.

If you click on the 'Register now' link, it will show you some options of ways you may like to be involved, including booking a shoe box to pack and your food tickets so we can all enjoy some yummy food together afterwards.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse. It’s a hands-on way for us to demonstrate God’s love to vulnerable children across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, clothes and fun gifts.

This is a way for us to shine Jesus's light into the darkness of situations like poverty, war and natural disasters.

Children who receive shoe boxes are offered the opportunity to hear more about Jesus :-)
