- We're excited to invite you to YWMP's Safer Spaces Conference on Friday 6th November 2026, funded by Arts Council England's Supporting Grassroots Music fund.This free conference brings together artists, promoters, charities, community organisations, venue staff, educators and anyone interested in creating more inclusive, welcoming and accountable spaces in music. During the conference, we'll share learnings, challenges and practical processes we've developed, including launching our brand new Safer Spaces Consultation & Training Package, created with our Safer Spaces Steering Committee to create more inclusive environments in grassroots music.We're delighted to welcome Molly Sterling for a talk and screening of Notes in Progress, a film created with Alex Foster. Molly's work explores power, care and accountability in the arts, drawing on their experiences in the music industry and through initiatives including The Reclaim Project and Queer ShedsThe conference also marks the opening of No. 80 Festival (6th-8th November 2026), YWMP's multi-day festival celebrating otherness through music, creativity and community. Tickets will be sold separately for the No. 80 Festival programme.
