BETTER IN THE DARK is a new live night curated by London-based artist, Rosie Alena. BETTER IN THE DARK will premiere with a series of work in progress nights. They will have no headliner, it is a collective night for multiple artists / bands (including Rosie Alena) to perform new material and play with new collaborators, ultimately creating a space for them to try things they may not be able to try elsewhere. No set times will be announced ahead of time - just a start time and end time for the event. The first night will take place at Morocco Bound Bermondsey (London) on Wednesday 14th October 2026. Rosie Alena will perform with Blossom Caldarone and more acts tba. **Rosie Alena** Rosie Alena is a London-born artist, vocalist, and songwriter making cinematic indie-folk and pop driven by intricate compositions and storytelling. Moving from lush, atmospheric arrangements to snappier, vulnerable pop hooks on her 2025 EP Everyman, she has collaborated with Tom Misch and My New Band Believe, and toured with artists like Olivia Dean, Katy J Pearson and Indigo De Souza. **Blossom Caldarone** “Each day is a drama,” declares Blossom Caldarone on the opening track of her rager new EP, Might Smash a Window. In fact, it's so much so that the English-Italian songwriter could have written a whole opera about her life. A cellist and pianist, Blossom often accompanies herself whilst also playing in other bands including English Teacher, Baxter Dury, black midi and The Big Moon.
