Ruvs Presents X Gusto: Carlos Souffront

Gusto & Ruvs present the music gourmet of Carlos Souffront. The globally acclaimed No Way Back and Interdimensional Transmissions resident brings his audacious mixing and decades-honed curation to the Key Fob Warehouse, with a repertoire spanning the depths of funk, acid house, techno, post punk and experimental gems. Souffront grew up immersed in the groove of Prince, Donna Summer, disco, and his father’s classical record collection. Frequenting Detroit dance parties from the moment he could drive, he discovered and absorbed the relentless passion at the core of the nascent underground dance culture. He elevated that culture through the nineties and the following decades with fevered digging, residencies, and foundational roles in Interdimensional Transmissions, No Way Back, Honey Soundsystem, and The Bunker.
