This Hallow’s Eve we are hosting a Halloween drag wrestling spectacular: a voodoo booty battle with Choke Hole, Function, and Big Freedia herself. Welcome to WITCHSLAP. Let’s admit it: the world outside is full of terrifying, scary, utter nonsense. Escape instead into a world called Xanadu where things are nonsensical in all the right ways. This is what happens when the apocalypse gets gay. Little witches. Big bodies. A wrestling ring inside a roller rink inside the Bermuda Triangle of Bushwick. Drag queens throwing hands in costume. The veil between worlds is thin and somebody is getting slammed through it. New Orlean’s finest, Big Freedia, is gracing the rink (and maybe the ring!) live! The bass will reorganize your organs. You will bounce. You have no choice. DJs Makadsi and Dangerous Rose will make sure the night never once feels safe or boring. Come in costume or come as yourself.
