Rowena Wise and Minor Gold with guest Ella Jones come together for one night only at the Wandana Brewing Co in Mullumbimby. Rowena Wise is a Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriter whose work balances beauty and mess with rare emotional precision, drawing from 60s folk storytelling while grounded in indie rock, garage pop and alt-folk. Raised in Margaret River, Western Australia, by a luthier father and a Chicago-born folk musician mother, Wise moved to Melbourne at 18 to forge her own path. Since debuting in 2018, she has amassed over 12 million streams, earned airplay across triple j , double j and Unearthed , and toured extensively across Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, supporting artists including Holy Holy, Ball Park Music, Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey . Her 2024 debut album, Senseless Acts of Beauty , was praised by CLASH Magazine as " carefully etched indie folk " and shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize . Her highly anticipated sophomore album, Bad Things Feel Good *, a tender, point-blank meditation on transformation produced by Rob Muinos (Julia Jacklin, Didirri), is out August 7, 2026 via Beloved. MINOR GOLD - 2026 Minor Gold are an award-winning duo led by ARIA-nominated songwriters Tracy McNeil and Dan Parsons. Blending golden-era folk-rock with lush harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, they’ve captivated audiences across international stages since their debut in 2023. Their music evokes open roads and sunlit canyons, earning them a Folk Award at the 2024 Queensland Music Awards and praise for their “brilliant songwriting and impeccable performances” (Double J). Fresh from an extraordinary run of touring across North America, the UK and Europe, Minor Gold return to Australian stages in late 2026, riding the momentum of their acclaimed second album, Way to the Sun. Recorded in California with producer Dan Horne (Mapache, Cass McCombs), the album spent nine weeks on the US Americana Radio Chart, appeared in UNCUT’s Top Tracks of the Month, and earned multiple ???? reviews internationally. UNCUT praised the duo’s “alluring telepathy”, while Rhythms Magazine declared their “real superpower is their melodic vocal interplay and sixth-sense harmonies.” After a huge year on the road abroad, Minor Gold return home as one of the country’s quietly compelling international folk exports. SOUNDS LIKE… Sounds like classic vocal harmony and close-in guitars drifting down an open highway - somewhere between Simon & Garfunkel, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, and the Grateful Dead. ELLA JONES singer-songwriter, folk & maybe a lil country ? Brisbane (Meanjin)-born singer-songwriter Ella Jones writes about life, longing and the moments that stay with us. Blending modern folk and alt-country, her music is rooted in honest storytelling, intimate vocals and understated arrangements. Following the release of her debut single ‘Just Because I'm Leaving', Ella is beginning to carve out her place in the folk landscape, with more music and exciting things on the horizon.
