Vinyl Revival Evening
For more than 40 years, Graham Jones has travelled the UK visiting record shops and witnessing the highs, lows and remarkable stories of record retailing.
A founder of Proper Music and author of three books about record shops, including the bestselling Last Shop Standing, Graham has become one of the leading chroniclers of Britain's independent record shop scene. Two of his books have also been adapted into films celebrating the culture and importance of independent record stores.
Now returning to his home city, Graham brings his popular Vinyl Revival Evening to Rough Trade Liverpool.
Each event features:
- Fascinating, funny and often unbelievable true stories from the world of record shops
- A Merseyside Music Quiz with prizes
- An entertaining and interactive evening celebrating Liverpool's rich musical heritage
As an added bonus, the event also raises money for War Child and Nordoff Robbins. Thanks to the generosity of the music industry, attendees will have the opportunity to take home donated vinyl records, including some signed editions, in return for a charitable donation.
Join us for a memorable evening of laughter, music and stories from behind the counter of Britain's record shops.
