A Brazilian evening with Dhruvi and Pranay

Where Delhi’s fiery blues meets the sun-drenched grooves of South America, Pranay Verma and Dhruvi create a soundscape that is both virtuosic and effortlessly cool.

Pranay, a Delhi-born guitarist, songwriter, and producer who picked up the instrument at just nine years old, brings a deep-seated love for 70s rock and blues to the stage. Over the years, his style has expanded into a rich blend of jazz fusion, taking cues from icons like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, and Guthrie Govan. Known for his fluid phrasing and rich tonal palette, Pranay’s guitar work provides the ultimate canvas for intricate harmonic exploration.

Joined by the captivating voice of Dhruvi, the duo pivots into the breezy, sophisticated world of Brazilian Jazz. Blending infectious Bossa Nova rhythms and soulful Samba grooves with blues-infused jazz improvisation, they reframe classic Brazilian flavors through a fresh, contemporary lens. Together, Pranay and Dhruvi deliver an intimate yet high-energy musical experience—one that is as emotionally resonant as it is rhythmically irresistible.
