Big Ideas presents large ensemble jazz, improvised, & experimental music in, of, and for the North of England, written & performed by a rotating lineup of musicians based across the region. For our first ever gig in Leeds we celebrate the Beach Boys' seminal Pet Sounds, one of the most influential and revered albums of all time. Marking both 60 years since its release and the passing last year of Brian Wilson, the mastermind behind it all, we'll present the entire album in fresh arrangements and interpretations by some of the North's finest writing talent, performed by a dream team 18 piece big band.
