The Manga Day Festival is an inaugural, free-admission celebration of International Manga Day scheduled for Sunday, November 1st, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hosted at the Olive + Pine in Avondale Estates, Georgia, the festival is designed as a family-friendly, bringing together local sequential artists, young creators, and fans for a day of high-energy activations, including live manga art demonstrations, sequential drawing contests, and a Cosplay Runway Showcase.The festival is coordinated and organized by **The Comic Workshop**, Metro Atlanta's only studio dedicated exclusively to comic art education. Founded by the husband-and-wife team of Phillip and Stephanie Fleming—both professional artists and educators—the studio's mission is to empower the next generation of visual storytellers. Through the festival, the organizers aim to create an accessible space for fans to geek out while connecting the community to the professional paths available in the comic and animation industries.
