Hailing from Japan, DJ RENA made history as the youngest-ever DMC World Champion, winning the title at just 12 years old and redefining what was possible in turntablism on a global scale. Far more than a technical virtuoso, he is an electrifying dance floor rocker whose dynamic style has propelled him onto the international stage. He continues to appear at leading international events, including Bastid’s BBQ Toronto, curated by Skratch Bastid, and The Soulitude Urban Expressions Festival in Geneva. He has notably shared the stage with influential artists such as DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, A-Trak, Bilal, and The Alchemist, among others throughout his career. Joining him on support is São Paulo’s DJ NYACK! One of Brazil’s most respected selectors and a longtime force in the country’s hip-hop and vinyl scene. Co-founder of the legendary vinyl-only party Discopédia and Petróleo Music record store, NYACK makes his Melbourne debut for this one. Minimum age: 18+
