the slackers writing salon: the writing club that makes you write. this is a place for the procrastinators, the missed deadlines, the half-written poems, the midnight writers and the prose yet to be written. hosted by queer writer & editor fopé ajanaku, every second wednesday of the month at algha's plantroom. second event wednesday september 9th ~ 8-11pm.expect dedicated writing sessions, monthly themes, deeply unserious creative prompts, good company, all culminating in a slacker showcase this autumn soft drinks and alcohol will be available at the bar.come as you are. leave with hopefully a few more words than you arrived with. tickets are on a sliding scale at £5 / £10 / £15 - please take a concession ticket only if you need it, and please take a pay it forward ticket if you are in a place of abundance. we appreciate all support as a grassroots queer venue <3if you can’t afford a ticket, drop us a message and we’d be happy to accommodate - @livingwomb.fka.alghasplantroom on instagram or email [email protected]
