Welcome to the CHOP SHOP: a Tee Shirt Personalization workshop inviting the Rhizomatic community into the archival world of multidisciplinary artist Eva Dixon. After learning a bit about Eva's practice, participants will dive into the rich collection of Eva's vintage imagery collection. From girl guides and the space race to tradies, miners, trackers, and vintage sex symbols, Eva will guide participants on how to flip the sometimes sexist and homophobic attitudes of these old ads and clippings to create collaged T-shirts that embody queerness, community, and campy joy.
