Richard Stubbs Richard Stubbs has spent more than four decades making Australian audiences laugh, and he remains one of the country's most accomplished live comedians. Richard Stubbs began performing stand-up at Melbourne's legendary Last Laugh in 1983. His intelligent, anecdotal style quickly established him as a distinctive comic voice, taking him from comedy rooms around Australia to stages in Montreal, Los Angeles, London and New York. I n 2026, Richard returned to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a sold-out season, demonstrating that his connection with live audiences remains as strong as ever. He is still very much a working comedian: performing regularly, writing new material and bringing the timing, storytelling and crowd instincts of a seasoned stand-up to every room. His comedy finds the absurdity in relationships, family, ageing and everyday life, delivered with warmth, intelligence and a wonderfully dry edge. Alongside stand-up, Richard became one of Melbourne's best-known radio personalities through his years at Triple M and ABC Radio Melbourne. Bev Killick Bev Killick is from the bold and brassy school of stand-up, delivering a non-stop energetic set every time. As soon as she blast’s her way on stage, you know you’re in for a treat. Bev is likeable, bawdy and real. Bev has worked with international artists such as Weird Al Yankovic, Wayne Brady, Brad Garrett and is in high demand as a touring comedian. Touring with Puppetry of the Penis, MICF Roadshow, and hit musical theatre production Busting Out! She is the first ever female stand-up to perform for the troops with Forces Entertainment. Bev is also an actor and has appeared in many television series and films, Deadloch Season 2, Preacher, It’s A Date, Kath and Kim, Jack Irish, Sunshine, Drunk History, Kinne Tonight, The Very Excellent Mr Dundee, That’s Not My Dog, Gnomes, Jones Family Christmas, Summer Love and the award-winning film Shady (Sundance Film Festival) to name a few.
