The White Album is danish indie trio that’s been around since the beginning of the 10’s. Drawing on folk, rock and pop sounds the band has made a name for itself on the stages and in the airwaves of Europe in more than a decade. The band has released several albums on Warner Music and performed generously in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and at home in Denmark. The band is co-led by the three childhood friends, Jakob Eilsø, Claus Arvad and Frederik Vedersø and is known for their beautiful vocal harmonies, some amazing songs and their distinct warm nordic humour. ‘Lighthouse’ is the first in a series of new singles from danish indie-rockers The White Album. Following up on their 2020 release ‘Colorama’, the trio is going DIY yet again with an up-tempo indie pop song, oozing of warmth and summer. The White Album has been around since the beginning of the 10’s and has so far released 4 records to critical acclaim, while touring the UK, Germany, Switzerland and their native Denmark extensively, with their own special blend of beautiful vocal harmonies, amazing songs and a good thick slab of dry nordic humour. Even though The White Album is a danish band, their career began in England, where the band was discovered by an English management agency. Lots of hype ensued and many concerts were played, among other things, the band were featured on Amazing Radio and played Tramlines and JaJaJa. The band then decided to focus their energy at home, where the band was signed by Warner Music and released two succesful albums, spawning among others, the streaming hit “Kings and Aces” (+3 mill streams) and a hefty radio rotation. The band has toured Germany and Switzerland extensively and has featured several times on national danish TV. Leah Marlene has a gift for pulling audiences into a spell. At the heart of her music is a commitment to visceral storytelling, melodic invention, and emotional honesty. Blending the intimacy of folk with the dynamism of rock and pop, she creates songs that feel both timeless and refreshingly new. Born in Ontario and raised in Illinois, Leah grew up surrounded by music before capturing national attention when she placed third on Season 20 of American Idol. Now based in Nashville, she has toured extensively across North America, shared stages with artists like Jade Bird, Peach Pit, and Margo Price, and was named a Top 50 finalist in NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest. On stage, she’s as magnetic as she is refreshing, leaving every audience changed for the better.
