Due to popular demand, Aotearoa’s own balaclava-clad Vaseline-smeared techno balladeer Uncle Quentin is back to share the stage with Hannah Potter; ready to dish sexually explicit reflections on intimacy, environmental collapse and loneliness. With co-writing credits on Marlon Williams’ Silver Scroll nominated ‘Dark Child’ to his name, Uncle Quentin is a prolific artist, churning out heartfelt tropical-flavoured depravity-dripping bangers like the one man beat-machine that he is. Prepare to scream, laugh and weep beneath the dancefloor strobes as Uncle Quentin croons the Queer shame out and calls in a yucky sexy time. Naarm-based singer-songwriter Hannah Potter’s recent debut singles ‘Snow Day’ and ‘Judith’s House’ garnered local acclaim for their nuance, maturity and raw haunting power. A self-directed, independent artist dedicated to authenticity, Potter’s work is punk at its core with elements of trip-hop, blues, post-rock and eerie dark Irish folk.
