Life-Drawing with Small Plates Supper

It's November, and you're craving cosy. You want to create something, but you don't know where to start. You're looking for a creative community… Introducing: Love Club Life-Drawing + small plates supperWednesday 4 November, 18:30 to 21:00, Green Place Studios, Homerton/ClaptonSupper, life-drawing, and all materials included. Charcoal fingers and red wine lips, this time meets a delicious small plates supper, cooked lovingly for us by the magical Ruth Kilsby. If you’ve been to a Love Club life-drawing session before, you’ll know they are fun, light and draped in sweet sounds and soft velvet. If it’s your first time, you’re so welcome- as with all things Love Club, we are way more interested in the route to creativity, the act of creativity, rather than the creation of a masterpiece. Though what we’ve realised is that often when you release the need to create something ‘perfect’, the muse cuts through, and you leave with magic. Come and draw with us, at the simply beautiful Green Place Studios- a creative photography studio cocoon in Homerton/Clapton, and be fed deliciously by our wonderful Chef Ruth. We will start, as always, with some quick exercises, prompts and shorter poses to warm up and settle in. Then we will take a short break, and feast, whilst we move into some longer poses, giving you the opportunity to spend some time with each pose. The meal will be veggie, with some vegan options available- full menu shared very soon. Let us know before booking if you have any allergies, to make sure we can cater for you and keep you safe. All materials provided, we’ll have an incredible model posing for us. You’ll leave with all your sketches to adorn your walls. Venus in body, mind and belly.
