Waza Waza — Iga Art Book Fair 2026 を開催します。 2026年9月26日（土）・27日（日）11:00–19:00 史跡旧崇広堂（三重県伊賀市上野丸之内78-1） 入場無料 日本・アメリカ・中国・シンガポール・イラン・チュニジア——6の国と地域から38組の作り手が、自分でつくった本を持って伊賀に集まります。集まるのは、アートブックと呼ばれる本です。作品集や詩集のような一般書籍から、本という形態や概念そのものを作品として考えた実験的なものまで、そのあり方はさまざまです。こうした本は、出版流通を通じて届けられるだけでなく、ブックフェアの場で、つくった人の手から直接、手渡されてきました。 畳七十二枚の大広間で、全部、手に取って読めます。つくった本人がその隣にいます。 アートブックフェアの多くは大きな都市で開かれます。人が多く、本が売れる場所だから。伊賀はそうではありません。それでも、わざわざ本をつくる人たちが、わざわざここまで足を運びます。 かつて図書館だったこの場所が、本で埋め尽くされる二日間。 どうぞ、一冊をひらいてみてください。 主催：わざわざ実行委員会／共催：公益財団法人 伊賀市文化都市協会 後援：伊賀市、伊賀市教育委員会、公益社団法人日本図書館協会、株式会社REMARE — Waza Waza — Iga Art Book Fair 2026 September 26–27, 2026, 11:00–19:00 Sukodo, Iga, Mie — free admission Thirty-eight makers from six countries and regions — Japan, the United States, China, Singapore, Iran and Tunisia — bring books they made themselves and lay them out on seventy-two tatami mats. Art books treat the book itself as the work, not only what is written in it. Their niche subjects and unusual formats rarely fit ordinary distribution, so they reach readers at fairs like this, directly from their makers. You can pick up every one of them, and the person who made it is sitting right there. Art book fairs are usually held in big cities, where books sell. Iga is not such a place. Yet people make these books by hand and carry them all the way here. For two days, a room that was once a library will be full of books again. Come and open one. wazawaza-artbookfair.com
