After his long-awaited Australian debut in 2024, Ron Trent returns For more than three decades, the Chicago visionary has occupied a singular place in electronic music. A defining architect of deep house, co-founder of the seminal Prescription Records with Chez Damier, and a DJ and producer whose unmistakably deep, soulful and expansive musical language continues to influence generations. Joining him for her Australian debut is Detroit-born, Atlanta-based Ash Lauryn. DJ, curator, broadcaster and the force behind Underground & Black — the platform that grew from a blog into an acclaimed NTS Radio show and event series dedicated to celebrating and carrying forward the Black American roots of house and techno. Since emerging in 2016, Ash has taken her deep and soulful approach around the world, while releases with the likes of Kai Alcé, Jimpster and Oveous have further connected her work as a DJ, storyteller and cultural voice.
