For one night, we’re transforming the arch with cacao, UV paint, ecstatic dance, somatic movement, music and a room full of brilliant people Social Yoga × Afterglo (Sober Dance) - Hackney Central Launch PartySOCIAL YOGA × AFTERGLOHACKNEY CENTRAL STUDIO LAUNCH PARTYFRIDAY 16TH OCTOBER · BREAD & BUTTER · BOHEMIA PLACEWe’re finally having a party.After opening our second Social Yoga home at the iconic Bread & Butter arch in Hackney Central — where we’re now programming movement six days a week alongside our original Fish Island studio — it feels about time we properly celebrated.And anyone who knows Social Yoga knows we were never going to do a conventional studio launch.For one night, we’re transforming the arch with cacao, UV paint, ecstatic dance, somatic movement, music and a room full of brilliant people, in collaboration with Dirish Shaktidas (Afterglo).We’ll begin with cacao before Dirish takes us into an ecstatic Afterglo sober dance journey — movement, breath, music, freedom and a chance to properly lose yourself in the dance.Dirish’s crew will be joining us too, with UV painting throughout the evening, as the studio shifts under the lights and things get increasingly colourful.Then, when the dancing finishes at 9, nobody’s being hurried out of the arch. We’ll keep things going with bubbles, drinks, snacks and a Social Yoga social afterwards.Your £17 ticket includes a welcome drink, cacao, UV painting and the full evening.6.30pm — doors, welcome drinks + UV painting7pm — cacao + Afterglo sober dance. 9pm onwards — drinks, snacks, bubbles + social£15 early bird£17 a week before the event….
