Classic Album Sundays presents the launch of Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy’s Balearic Breakfast Volume 5 at Hidden Grooves. To celebrate the latest instalment in Colleen’s much-loved Balearic Breakfast series for Heavenly Recordings, Wax Poetics’ Andy Thomas joins Colleen in conversation, followed by a full album playback on the Hidden Grooves sound system and a record signing. Released on 13 November, Balearic Breakfast Volume 5 is a limited-edition double vinyl collection bringing together rare, unreleased and newly remixed music from across the eras. The ten-track selection includes Colleen’s own Cosmodelica remixes of Joshua Idehen and The Seven Ups, Ruf Dug’s reconstruction of Sewell & The Gong, and a thirteen-minute journey from The All Seeing I and Crooked Man. An evening dedicated to the stories and music behind the new compilation, heard in full and as intended.
