2026 OCR & LA Award Ceremony

OCR/LA Theatre Bites Awards are back! This year, the awards will be held at the Phantom Projects Theatre at La Habra Depot, which is located at 311 South Euclid Street, La Habra, CA 90631, on October 1, 2026 from 7 pm - 9 pm. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of space from the Phantom Theatre Projects, we will be able to hold our 3rd in-person awards event for the Orange County and LA Theater community. This year's theme will be It's a Farce! Dressing up is definitely encouraged! In addition to the awards being handed out, we will have three, short, comedic plays by local playwrights Joni Ravenna, Lauren Sweet, and Ryan Coombs performed during the show. 10% of the funds raised through ticket sales will go directly back to Phantom Theatre Projects. Since 2014 Orange Curtain Review/LA Theatre Bites have worked to bring attention to the talented theater creators in the LA/Orange County theatre scene. We hope this event will be an opportunity to network, celebrate, and support local theater. The event will be live-streamed on the LA Theatre Bites's Instagram. A few days later, the whole event will be recorded on the LA Theatre Bites and Orange Curtain Review websites.
