Oktober, 13 – 14 Uhr <p>Bild: Alice Köppel, Filmstill aus «Keeping up with the Köppels».</p> <p><strong>Screenings in der Ausstellung mit Alice Köppel</strong></p> <p>«Keeping up with the Köppels» ist eine Videoarbeit von Alice Köppel, die lose auf der amerikanischen Reality-TV-Serie «Keeping up with the Kardashians» basiert. Im Laufe von drei Episoden blicken wir hinter die Fassade von Alice Köppel, einem Superstar, der mit Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen hat. Vor zwei Jahren wurde sie nicht nur über Nacht berühmt, sondern auch zur Projektionsfläche gesellschaftlicher Erwartungen.</p> <p>Alice Köppel (geb. 2003, lebt und arbeitet in Luzern) beschäftigt sich mit Performance und textbasierter Kunst. Sie setzt sich mit sozialen Ritualen, dem Bedürfnis nach Zugehörigkeit und den Schnittstellen zwischen Person, Persona und Objekt auseinander. Seit 2023 beschäftigt sie sich mit der Rolle des Superstars. Für sie sind das Figuren, in denen sich gesellschaftliche Erwartungen und patriarchalische Rollenvorbilder zuspitzen und manifestieren.</p> <p>Im öffentlichen Screening schauen wir gemeinsam mit der Künstlerin zwei Episoden ihres Videos und kommen mit der Rheintalerin, die genauso gross ist wie Kim Kardashian, ins Gespräch.</p> <p>Screening im Eintritt inbegriffen.</p> <p>Kostenlos für Mitglieder Freundeskreis Kunst(Zeug)Haus</p> <p>Keine Anmeldung erforderlich.</p> <p> </p> <p>Eintritt frei. <br> Keine Anmeldung erforderlich.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>***ENG</p> <p> <br> Screenings at the Exhibition with Alice Köppel </p> <p>Screenings as part of the exhibition featuring Alice Köppel</p> <p>‘Keeping up with the Köppels’ is a video work by Alice Köppel, loosely based on the American reality TV series ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’. Over the course of three episodes, we get a glimpse behind the façade of Alice Köppel, a superstar struggling with difficulties. Two years ago, she not only became famous overnight, but also became a canvas for societal expectations.</p> <p>Alice Köppel (born 2003, lives and works in Lucerne) works in the fields of performance and text-based art. She explores social rituals, the need for belonging, and the intersections between person, persona and object. Since 2023, she has been exploring the role of the superstar.
