Description
On Saturday, 24 October 2026, The Rhapsody Orchestra presents its final concert of the 2026 season, Classical Contrasts, at the Sand du Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein. The program explores three contrasting works: Mendelssohn’s evocative Hebrides Overture, Viotti’s Violin Concerto No. 23 in G major, featuring orchestra member Kefentse Motshabi as soloist, and Tchaikovsky’s enchanting Nutcracker Suite. From the drama of the sea to classical elegance and romantic colour, the concert offers a captivating musical journey that ends with Christmas magic.
