The Dramble – A Legendary Whisky Walk with The Hideout Step into one of our most celebrated experiences: The Dramble. This unique event blends the best of a guided nature hike with the pleasure of fine Scotch whisky, as we follow the scenic Kennet and Avon Canal from Bath. Join special guest host Bill Shearer, brand representative for Bruichladdich – the progressive Islay distillery celebrated for its bold innovation, exceptional quality and commitment to terroir-driven whisky. Bill will be sharing complimentary drams at carefully chosen stops along the route. Expect expert insight, great conversation and exceptional whisky in the open air. We meet at the entrance to Sydney Gardens in Bath for a relaxed welcome (exact time and meeting point confirmed with your ticket). Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee before we set off. The walk covers approximately eight miles along the canal, finishing at Bradford-on-Avon train station. Regular stops are built in for whisky tastings, refreshments, bathroom breaks and simply soaking up the views. Fresh drinking water is provided free throughout the day. Return trains to Bath and other destinations run from both Bradford-on-Avon and nearby Avoncliff stations. Public transport is not included in the ticket price. This is an outdoor walking event, so comfortable hiking attire and a good level of fitness are essential. We aim to finish around 6pm, though timings may vary slightly.
