On the Launch of Super!!! DUB DUB DUB
In an era where hatred blooms around the world and chains of sorrow continue to expand... In a time when speaking of dreams and hope is treated as a synonym for foolishness...
It is precisely in a time like this that we want to convey positive messages—love, hope, harmony, peace, and gratitude—through the power of Dub and Reggae music.
In a world filled with hatred and sorrow where hope feels hard to hold onto, we wanted Kazufumi Kodama and MIGHTY MASSA—two pioneers who have been at the forefront of the scene since its early days—to stand on the same stage under the keyword "DUB." We wanted them to express Dub through their respective lifework styles: live performance and sound system. Their sound, and the peaceful vibrations hidden within its edge—that is the true essence of Reggae and Dub.
It was from the passionate desire to let as many people as possible experience this sound that we held the inaugural DUB DUB DUB in 2024.
In 2025, we hosted the second edition, "more!!! DUB DUB DUB." Thanks to the incredible support from attendees, those who couldn't make it, and industry partners, we received overwhelming requests from all sides to continue. Thus, we decided to return this year with an upgraded edition titled "super!!!".
Unfortunately, Kazufumi Kodama—who was our primary inspiration for starting this event—is unable to perform this time as well. However, as we eagerly await his recovery and the return of his sound, all artists and crew come together wishing for a blossom of hope in this era—transmitting these messages and vibrations through Dub and Reggae, and through the cultures of live bands and sound systems.
Respect and blessings for all life.
Guidance……
- Looking forward to your recovery and your sound! Respect, Kodama-san! *
