Sparta is an American post-hardcore/alternative rock band formed in El Paso, Texas, in 2001 by Jim Ward, Paul Hinojos, and Tony Hajjar following the breakup of At the Drive-In. Known for melodic yet intense rock, they released acclaimed albums like Wiretap Scars (2002) and Porcelain (2004). After various hiatuses, they reunited in 2017. Support from Hammok.
