Friendly & Relaxed Queer Life Drawing Sessions at Sante, Didsbury in South Manchester. No experience or materials required - just bring your creativity. During The Session:Art Materials: Basic supplies provided, including a board to lean on, paper, charcoal, pencils, pens, crayons and more. Feel free to bring your own materials if preferred. Nude Queer Models: Each session will feature a different queer model with poses ranging from 2 to 20 minutes.Music: Each session has a playlist designed to relax your mind and inspire creativity.Drinks: Grab a drink from the bar downstairs to bring up to the session with you. Seating: Lots of chairs available. Schedule:Arrival: 6:45PM - 7PMSession Start: 7PM10 Minute Break in The MiddleSession End: 8:30PM Session Breakdown:Warm-up: Short 2/ 5 minute poses to warm upFirst Half: Shorter poses ranging between 10 - 15 minutes eachBreak: 10 minute break to stretch and choose new suppliesSecond Half: 1 or 2 longer 20 minute poses in the final half Important Info:The Space: The session will take place in the upstairs of a restaurant and bar. You are more than welcome to grab a drink at the bar to bring up to the session, and pop down whenever to get another if you fancy. Access: The space is accessed via a set of stairs, unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessibleToilets: Toilets availale in the main restaurant/ bar area downstairs Meet Your Host: Ben Saunders (he/him)Ben Saunders is a queer, trans masc illustrator and ceramicist based in Manchester. His work focuses on queer and trans bodies and he aims through his work to provide a space to encourage people to feel safe to express their sexuality and love for their body without fear of judgement. Ben has been running queer and trans specific life drawing sessions in Manchester for a number of years in a range of venues and he always aims to prioritise creating a relaxing, welcoming and friendly queer safe space to allow you to take time for yourself in a friendly, supportive environment.
