What did we learn from IAS 2026 — and what do we do with that knowledge now?Rethink. Rebuild. Rise. brings together clinicians, researchers, community members, activists, advocates and others working across HIV and sexual health to reflect on the latest science, developments and conversations emerging from IAS 2026, explore what they mean for communities in the UK, and turn insight into action.RethinkWe’ll begin by looking back at IAS 2026: the new science, emerging developments, community responses and key messages that shaped the conference. What challenged our thinking? What gave us hope? And which conversations need to continue beyond the conference?RebuildWe’ll then bring those developments home. What do they mean in a UK context, particularly for communities experiencing persistent inequalities in HIV and sexual health?Together, we’ll consider the challenges and opportunities ahead — from access and implementation to inequalities, advocacy and ensuring communities have a meaningful role in shaping what comes next.RiseFinally, we’ll shift from reflection to participation and action.Rise will create space for a more interactive conversation about activism, advocacy and practical next steps. What needs to change? Where can communities have the greatest impact?
