A Chorus Line

A Chorus Line follows a group of young performers auditioning for a place in the chorus of a new musical.

During the audition, the director asks the dancers to do more than simply show their technique. One by one, they share stories about their lives, their experiences growing up, and what led them to become performers.

As the audition continues, we get to know the individuals behind the dancers — their personalities, dreams, challenges and their shared love of performing.

With only a limited number of places available, each dancer hopes to hear their number called and earn a coveted place in the chorus line.

At its heart, the show is a celebration of dance, determination, individuality and the courage it takes to put yourself out there and pursue something you love.
