AL.Berlin's annual multidisciplinary festival and community platform celebrating contemporary SWANA (South West Asia and North Africa) music, art, and culture. Bringing together artists, musicians, filmmakers, and cultural workers from the region and its diasporas, the festival creates space for underrepresented voices through concerts, film screenings, workshops, discussions, radio, and community gatherings. Rooted in solidarity, cultural exchange, and collective empowerment, AL.FESTIVAL strengthens community connections while fostering dialogue, artistic experimentation, and new cultural futures. >>>OPENING NIGHT <<< 2 OCTOBER · 20:00 · 90MIL We kick things off at 90mil with an intimate evening of experimental live music, folk, ambient soundscapes and community gathering. A space to slow down, listen, meet people and ease into the week together with Badiaa Bouhrizi, Kamila Jubran, نايذه-Hadayan and Zahra (DJ). >>>CLUB NIGHT<<< 3 OCTOBER · 23:00 · ACUD CLUB The festival then moves to the dancefloor. We present you a selection of DJs playing bass heavy music in genre-defying sounds exploring the many ways our diasporas are shaping Berlin’s underground music scene. Come for the music. On Saturday 10 October, Festsaal Kreuzberg transforms into a four-stage festival, bringing together live concerts, club music and boundary-pushing performances from across the globe and its diasporas.
