Class dates: September 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14, 21.This All Levels Handbuilding class is suitable for anyone over age 18 who is interested in learning the many ways of working in clay without a pottery wheel.Handbuilding, which includes slab building, coiling, and pinching, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and clay (flat, in round strips, or in a ball) instead of a potter's wheel.Learn more about handbuildingClasses are every Wednesday from 6-8:30PM for 6 weeks. Includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction each week, use of community tools, clay, and 7 finished pieces each.About your teacherEthan received his BFA from Alfred University in 2023.
