If you know your deep house, you’ll know why this one is worth paying attention to. Blueless – the project of Sue McGuiness – released a small but hugely sought-after run of records on her own Capture Records in the mid-2000s. Deep, soulful, hypnotic and full of feeling, those records gradually disappeared from circulation and became increasingly difficult to find. Almost 20 years later, they’ve been rediscovered. UK label Dream Dancing has brought the Blueless catalogue back to vinyl, remastering some of the most sought-after tracks while also uncovering previously unreleased and new material. The music has found a whole new audience in the process – and has already been turning heads on dancefloors, including at Houghton 2026 . Now Blueless is back behind the decks, playing a 2 hour vinyl-only set, in Norwich, for the first time. For anyone who likes their house deep, soulful, warm and properly emotive, this is a chance to hear a very special catalogue in the setting it was made for: a dark room, a serious sound system and a dancefloor.
