Essener Domsingknaben: Voices in Dialogue - ENDLER CONCERT SERIES 2026

Description

This collaborative concert brings together the Essener Domsingknaben (Essen Cathedral Boys’ Choir), conducted by Harald Martini from Germany, the Stellenbosch University Chamber Choir (SUCC), and Bloemhof A Cappella. Centred around the visiting boys’ choir from Essen, the programme presents an evening of musical exchange between South African and European choral traditions. Each ensemble will contribute a selection from its own repertoire, bringing together the distinctive voices of a German cathedral choir, a South African university chamber choir, and a South African school a cappella ensemble. Through their individual performances and shared musical encounter, the three choirs offer audiences a diverse and engaging celebration of choral music across cultures and generations.
