Hair Jewellery Rosette Making is BACK with a special edition because our Founder's Mom is in town 🥳 We are so excited to offer a wine tasting alongside our crafting with the lovely Eleanor Mills. . . Here at Rhizomatic, we love to demystify spaces that have been made confusing and gatekept from women and other minority groups. If you're anything like me, wine has always been something I haven't totally understood, opting for the cheapest white wine at every bar.Talking with Eleanor changed that for me. With a background making wine in Australia, Eleanor knows wine inside and out, but also is a Gen Z girly pop at heart. She has been an incredible translator when building our first wine list, simplifying her language (but not mansplaining) to make a novice like me excited about wine for the first time ever. We will be sampling 4-6 wines across the 4 hours.And what goes better with crafting than wine??? NOTHING. Join us in the Hair Jewellery Workshop, the wine tasting, or both on Sunday October 4th. Meryl will teach the craft, and Eleanor will tell you a bit about each wine every 30 minutes or so, introducing you to a selection of Vinarius wines picked for our audience specifically. Participants will walk home with a hair jewellery rosette and a list of their new favorite wines, the perfect antitote to the Sunday Night Scaries. This is our first attempt at a DOUBLE FEATURE, lets see how it goes.
