Walking: 8 km, 5 km The Fun Walk & Run Family Day is a community initiative established as free community event. The event is commitment to promoting healthy living, physical activity and positive lifestyle choices among adults, families and children within the community. The Fun Run is designed as a fun, inclusive and family-friendly community event where participants can run, walk, exercise, socialize and enjoy a range of activities in a safe and welcoming environment. The main event will include: • 5km Fun Run & Walk through the East Lynne community • Aerobics session immediately after the run/walk • Family entertainment and activities • Kids’ entertainment, including a jumping castle • Food stalls selling boerewors rolls, hot dogs and other refreshments • Brand and community activations • Giveaways and prizes • Music and general entertainment • Water points along the route
