Rosa Genoni (1867–1954), dressmaker, fashion designer and political activist, can be considered the “mother” of Made in Italy as we know it today: a symbol of quality, art applied to industrial-scale production, and the combination of beauty and functionality.
In this presentation, we will rediscover together the life of an extraordinary and multi-talented woman, exploring her ideas, her creations and her fascinating connections with Australia.
