All Tickets are Choose Your Price Shining Somewhere By Sarah Ilyse Jacobson Callie, a professor researching a story about the women of the Irish Republican Army, has loved Julian since they were kids. Since she can't have him, Callie settles into a relationship with his lovelorn brother Aiden. Past, present, and Celtic myth intertwine as Callie's source material is revealed to hit uncomfortably close to home. Engaging with The Wooing of Étaín, a tale of the Irish Mythological Cycle Sara Ilyse Jacobson (Playwright - Shining Somewhere ). Sara’s plays have received staged readings and productions at the Capital Fringe Festival, Kennedy Center Page-To-Stage Festival, Last Frontier Theatre Conference, Virginia Playwrights and Screenwriters Initiative, Trinity Theatre Company, Chameleon Theatre Circle, Shelterbelt Theatre, Source Festival, Kathie Rasmussen Theatre, Arizona Women's Theatre, DC SWAN Day, Life and Death Matters Festival, Flush Ink Productions' Asphalt Jungle, Modern Day Griot Theatre Company, Ticket 2 Eternity Productions, Abstract Sentiment Theatre Co., Chestnut Street Playhouse, Madlab Theatre Roulette, Stage Left Theater and Estrogenius Festival, among others. Sara is the recipient of an Individual Artist Fellowship from the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
