Solo Studios 2026

Solo Studios is one of South Africa’s most distinctive art experiences, transforming Riebeek Valley into an immersive celebration of creativity, culture, food, wine, and music. For one special weekend each year, visitors are invited into the private studios of some of the country’s most respected artists, offering a rare opportunity to meet the creators, explore their working spaces, and experience art where it is made. The festival showcases a diverse range of contemporary visual arts, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and design, alongside curated exhibitions and engaging conversations with artists.
Beyond the studios, Solo Studios is a vibrant village-wide festival where art meets hospitality. Visitors can enjoy exceptional local wines, culinary experiences, live performances, guided tours, and the warm charm of the Swartland region. Whether you are a serious collector, an art enthusiast, or simply looking for an inspiring weekend escape, Solo Studios offers an unforgettable opportunity to connect with artists, discover new work, and experience the creative heartbeat of one of South Africa’s most beautiful destinations.
