4DWN Food Rescue happens every Sunday 9AM-1 PM at 4DWN. 4DWN Food Rescue is a volunteer fueled zero-waste healthy food rescue, meaning: – Excess healthy food is diverted from landfills (we do not distribute boxed, canned or other processed food.) – Food and packaging is sorted & processed by hand – Packaging is recycled and past-prime food is composted. – Healthy nutritious food is distributed throughout the for desert with the help of volunteers and partner organizations. It’s good for people, and good for the planet.
