Description

In this watercolor exploration for the creative preteens and teens, we will learn the basics of color and water which makes watercolor art unique. We will introduce basic techniques and learn how to work with light and dark, and use color theory. Then we will paint a simple painting that uses previous knowledge of watercolor technique.ALL MATERIALS AND SNACKS ARE PROVIDEDOctober 23, Friday 10:30am - 12:30pm1 class| 2 contact hours |Location:New Hartford Public Library (Corasanti Room)Enter from the side entrance and take the first right.+ IMPORTANT:To ensure the age appropriateness of the curriculum, children must meet the age requirement listed with the course description by the beginning of class. All children must be 10 years old and older+ SNACKThere will be a supervised snack break each day at mid-morning. If your child has food allergies, please provide your own snack and drink+ SMOCKS:The projects are fun but children may get something dirty at times.
