<p><strong>Your comedy friends, aunties, and sisters are back!</strong></p> <p>We're beyond excited to be back for another<strong> Funny Women Zurich Showcase </strong>– live at Comedyhaus on Thursday, November 5th!</p> <p>After our amazing first showcase in November 2025 and two seasons of Funny Women open mics that brought laughter to over 1000 people, we’re taking things up a notch: Join us for an unforgettable comedy show featuring a stellar lineup of <strong>local stand-up talents and seasoned pros</strong> ready to light up the stage with their sharp wit, wild stories, and unstoppable energy.</p> <p>Show starts at 8pm, doors open at 7.30pm.</p> <p><strong>You don't want to miss this!</strong></p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/martinadoescomedy/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Martina </a></strong>does <a href="https://eventfrog.ch/Martina-has-friends" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">comedy</a>, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/funnywomenzurich/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Funny Women</a>, and sometimes her laundry. Expect comedic chaos that's somehow cute. Think hurricane but pocket-sized. She performs all over Switzerland and internationally and will be hosting and headlining this show.</p> <p>This show also features these brilliant acts:</p> <p>Originally from Italy, <strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/keepingupwiththecomedian/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Ludovica </a></strong>came to Switzerland for her studies and stayed for her depression. Passionate about being aware of her surrounding, she is amused by the war of attrition that is life in a civilised society. She brings to the stage a neurospicy attitude towards finding the will to live.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/dr.valcomedy/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Val Ann</a></strong> is a perpetual apartment mover, ex-climate denier, current renewable energy scientist, and comedian. Living proof you can question your entire worldview not once, not twice, but roughly three times an hour, she performs jokes and retellings of awkward encounters, mostly to stall before giving up on modern society and starting a freethinking convent on Mars.</p> <p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/irenecarbogram/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><strong>Irene Carbone</strong></a> is a multilingual comedian (French, English, Italian, Spanish). With a highly energetic stage presence, she has developed a physical stand-up style, informed by her international experience and keen observational skills. She performs in Switzerland and abroad, with a particular affinity for theatre and radio. In 2025, she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in 2026 she performed at the festival Morges-sous-rire.</p> <p>__ <br> <em>This event is in English. <br> We welcome audience members of all genders.</em></p>
