Assessment of the Inpatient

Target Audience - nurses working in the acute and sub-acute areas

This program will provide a particular focus on primary assessment, respiratory assessment and neurological assessment. Examination of some neurological illnesses will be included.

The purpose of this day is to provide learners with a deeper understanding of the
Work of breathing
Acute respiratory assessment
Glasgow Coma Scale and its application
Signs of neurological deterioration
