Multispecies Attunement: A Workshop on Reconnecting with the Living World

In Multispecies Attunement, we will explore how colonialism and modernity keep separating us from the living world— imposing a so-called hierarchy of beings, where the human species is the most valuable species above all other species, justifying the extraction and exploitation of more-than-human life, which ultimately causes both the climate crisis and a mental health crisis. As a response, this workshop will endeavour multispecies listening, a contemplative practise, where we re-attune to the sounds and songs of beyond-human species, like nightingales, humpback whales, mushrooms, and more. This is a free workshop, but a ‘tip jar’ will be available if you’d like to show your appreciation and support the offering.
