The trio of **Tony Barba** (woodwinds), **Jakob Heinemann** (double bass) and **Ethan Snyder** (drums) return to Healing Force of the Universe to celebrate the digital release of their debut album Travel Center, which features a diverse mixture of original compositions and improvised excursions. Members of the trio have performed/toured/recorded with Father John Misty, Bon Iver, Makaya McCraven, Moon Hooch, Breathwork, Dave Rempis, and Alta Vista. **Sasha Brown** is an LA-based guitarist who has performed and recorded with Andrew D’Angelo’s DNA Orchestra, Chris Tordini’s Tiger Blood (with Jim Black, Kris Davis, and Jeremy Viner), and his own groups with Sunny Kim and Jason Nazary. He has also spent two decades orchestrating guitar for MacArthur Award-winning composer Heather Christian. Internationally renowned trombonist **Scott Flynn** fuses live horn with effects pedals to conjure improvised electronic soundscapes, drawing on credits with ODESZA, Lauryn Hill, and Marcus Miller. He leads free-improv trio Kurva Tak and electric outfit Elephant Wrecking Ball.
